Tbilisi Dendrological Park - a 250-hectare landfill, where up to three hundred species of rare trees and shrubs thrive. It is located in Tbilisi , near the largest reservoir in the capital, Tbilisi Sea .
The park was established in 1956. Here you will meet the evergreen cork oak grove, birch and sage plants. In the walnut grove along with the Greek walnut are Japanese, black and other varieties of walnut trees. Sequoia, cryptocurrency, silver spruce, Italian pine tree trunks are in the park. These relict trees of the tertiary period, which were once common in the Caucasus Mountains, reach a height of 30 meters and are famous for their strength, for which they even received the name - "Dzelkva".
Among the wingers of the Dendropark, the most pampered are the old inhabitants of the Caucasus - pheasant.
The park is rich with medicinal plants. Park has a seedling and a greenhouse.
